Arrive, unwind, and feel at home from the very first moment. Our nearly 140 m² holiday apartment is located in the heart of St. Gilgen on Lake Wolfgang and extends over two floors. With three separate bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area, and plenty of room to spend time together, it is ideal for families, couples travelling together, and small groups.

A home with character.
Colourful works of art add personality throughout the entrance area, living room, and bedrooms. Cosy seating areas invite you to read, daydream, and unwind.
One of the apartment’s special features is the traditional tiled stove in the living room. During the winter months, it provides pleasant radiant heat that can last for up to 24 hours. Even in summer, the beautiful stove is a striking feature that gives the room an especially warm and inviting atmosphere.

Enjoy time together and relax in comfort.
The spacious living area is perfect for unwinding on the cosy sofa – perhaps even for a little afternoon nap. The large dining table with eight chairs quickly becomes the heart of the holiday: a place to enjoy breakfast together, cook, play games, share stories, and laugh.
The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, including pots and pans, crockery, glasses, cutlery, a coffee machine, kettle, and toaster.
For cosy evenings or a relaxing rainy day, there are also two TVs available.

Three separate bedrooms.
The apartment offers three bedrooms, providing plenty of space and comfortable private retreats:
one bedroom with a double bed on the upper floor,
another bedroom with a double bed opposite the bathroom,
one bedroom with a single bed and sliding door, located directly next to the kitchen and dining area.
Spread across two floors, the apartment combines shared living space with plenty of privacy. This makes it easy for parents, children, grandparents, or friends to enjoy their holiday together while still having the option to retreat and relax whenever they wish.

A cosy spot on the open gallery.
On the open gallery in front of the bedroom beneath the roof, you’ll find a sofa bed – a cosy favourite spot for reading, daydreaming, or enjoying a long afternoon nap. And if the evening runs a little later, it can quickly be converted into an additional sleeping area. The gallery is open-plan and is not a separate bedroom.
The apartment is designed as a maisonette. An open wooden staircase in the living area connects the lower level with the upper floor.

Modern bathroom and additional guest toilet.
The newly renovated bathroom on the lower level features a spacious shower, two washbasins, and a toilet. The upstairs bedroom also has its own washbasin. A separate guest toilet is located on the lower level as well.

Three balconies and beautiful lake and mountain views.
One of the apartment’s standout features is the exceptional view. From the living and dining area, as well as from the balconies, you can enjoy views over Lake Wolfgang. On the opposite side, the impressive mountain scenery around the Plomberg rises into view.
As the house is set on a small hill, the apartment enjoys a wonderfully elevated yet peaceful setting. There are three balconies in total – perfect for your first coffee of the morning, a good book, or a relaxed end to the day.
Behind the house, a green area extends up the hillside. Those who walk up the small slope are rewarded with a beautiful view from the top. A small stream running behind the property completes the peaceful natural setting.

Your own private entrance.
Apartment 3 is one of three holiday apartments in the building and has its own separate entrance at the rear of the property.
You can reach it via the staircase next to the house. Once at the top, continue to the right around the building and then take a second set of stairs up to the apartment entrance.

Holiday in Laimstraße

Why Laimstraße? Because it brings together many of the things that make for a great holiday: a pleasant residential setting, a short walk to the town centre, and the beautiful nature of the Salzkammergut right on your doorstep.
The centre of St. Gilgen is just a short walk away. The path starts directly opposite the house and follows the water before passing underneath the main road. This allows you to reach the town centre comfortably without having to walk alongside the road.

A bottle of Prosecco will be waiting for you on arrival. You will also receive vouchers for our Café LIVA at Mozartplatz 5 in St. Gilgen, which we run with great care and passion.

There, you can enjoy beautifully presented breakfast platters, avocado toast, Flammkuchen, fresh sandwiches, and a wonderful selection of homemade cakes, tarts, and delicate patisserie creations. We also serve excellent coffee, chai, and matcha. Our small boutique is also well worth a browse.

For us, LIVA is much more than just a café. It is a project close to our hearts and a place where people come together, feel at home, enjoy the moment, and are happy to stay a little longer.

St. Gilgen combines the crystal-clear waters of Lake Wolfgang with the impressive mountain scenery of the Salzkammergut and a charming village centre.
Whether swimming, hiking, cycling, taking a boat trip across Lake Wolfgang, or riding the Zwölferhorn cable car, nature, activity, and relaxation begin almost right outside your door.
St. Gilgen also has a rich cultural history. The village is known as a Mozart village: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s mother was born here, and his sister Nannerl made St. Gilgen her home.
At the same time, Salzburg’s historic old town is only around 25 kilometres away. This means you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the lake while easily combining your stay with a day trip to the famous festival city.
